Sucker Punch and the Museum of Comic and Cartoon are organizing an open international ideas competition for a new home for the Museum of Cartoon and Comic Art, MoCCA. The MoCCA was established in 2001 and is based in the soho area of manhattan in New York City. [More info after the break.]

Lavender Lake Competition winners announced

suckerPUNCH sponsored the Lavender Lake Art Factory competition, and the winning designs have been recently announced. The international competition proposed an ‘art factory’ at the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, New York cointaining private/shared art studios, a storefront gallery/bar, analog/digital shops, and live/work spaces for rotating artists in residence.
