Project: House of Diffusion
Architect: Koichi Kimura Architects
FORM
Location: Shiga, Japan
FORM / Koichi Kimura Architects designed this “House of Diffusion” residence in Shiga, Japan. The company specialize in minimalist house design and most houses designed by them are painted in one color outside. Their other work was minimalist brown house while this one is white. The house structure is simple but thought-out. Its windows are positioned to afford views of the nearby hills but protect privacy from neighborhood. The interior of the house is a combination of clean white lines and walls with black or natural wood insertions. Everything looks quite minimalist but without losing in comfortability.
